Oil and heavy metal remover

Sampo is a leftover raw material product with a tetrahedral, extremely porous structure capable of retaining up to 60 times its weight in oil. Furthermore, its design enables it to function as a physicochemical sensor when in contact with specific heavy metals. Its available ions help to build new metal oxides, allowing these metals to be immobilised inside its structure.
Sampo Nano is a nanocomposite, which varies from the Sampo product. In this example, the structure is filled with nanoparticles, which provide the product antibacterial qualities. This product is suggested for use in water treatment systems that contain thermotolerant coliforms.

SOTgás is a polymer developed to remove harmful gases, notably CO2 and H2S, and can hold double its weight in gas. This ability allows for the synthesis of new compounds inside the structure, which inertises the gasses, rendering them safe to human health and the environment. It also acts as a gas detector, changing color when in contact with the pollutant.
